Spectators: 6639 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Faustino Baldovino started the match with the kick off. Angelo Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Celipe made a huge save. 5 minutes into the match, Melquiades Mincho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Celipe, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Faustino Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayacucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Baldovino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gervaso having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Faustino Baldovino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodio's Daniel Gervaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Baldovino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Daniel Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Victoro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Marcelino Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Gonza in the 39th minute of play. Marcelo Celipe came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Rodio's Angelo Mogel. But to his dismay, Angelo Mogel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Angelo Mogel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelo Celipe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Mincho to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Faustino Baldovino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Marcelino Leizarraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Faustino Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Roldanillo in the 58th minute of the match. Daniel Gervaso made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Marcelino Leizarraga sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Baldovino got free with Daniel Gervaso in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Rodio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcelino Leizarraga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Faustino Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute of the match Pablo Martxot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Celipe skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Marcelo Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Mincho in the 81st minute of play. Faustino Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gervaso having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Faustino Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayacucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Leizarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Daniel Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Rodio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Victoro to maneuver through the defense. Ayacucho's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rodio had won, even though Ayacucho had held more of the ball.
