Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zeledon Odilon took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Arnaldo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Sarracino in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Ferrer saved Guanacache from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Guanacache's Freddy Servando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Suero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 minutes Colazo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Marquez who took care of the corner kick. Leopoldo Marquez made a great header on Guanacache's corner, it was just that Colazo's Mauro Suero managed to reach the ball for a save. Freddy Servando did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mauro Suero 18 minutes into the match. Zeledon Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mauro Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Sarracino in the 31st minute of play forced Guanacache's goalkeeper Evaristo Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Mikolas in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Sarracino in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Ferrer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Guanacache's Isaac Lauren got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Freddy Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guanacache's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Servando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Suero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Zeledon Odilon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceferino Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Colazo booed when Guanacache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Sarracino to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Arnaldo Sarracino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evaristo Ferrer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guanacache's Evaristo Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Sarracino in the 60th minute of play. Arnaldo Sarracino struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Evaristo Ferrer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colazo. Ignacio Matro charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
