Alvise Consalvi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Tolino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Du Lin Lin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Melquiades Tolino made a huge save. A beautiful save bye Mecoyita's goalie prevented a goal. Mecoyita's Melquiades Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Consalvi in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mecoyita's zone, Dieguito Latorre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Tolino came out of the goal and Dieguito Latorre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Queso Peda's Alvise Consalvi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mecoyita's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Alvise Consalvi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queso Peda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Consalvi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Queso Peda's Nicasio Oihenarte was substituted for Du Lin Lin. Lino Louis's late challenge caught a Queso Peda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Louis helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Mecoyita got a freekick which was hit by Lino Louis. If Alvise Consalvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Queso Peda's Alvise Consalvi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Queso Peda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anibal Lizer in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Consalvi in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Tolino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvise Consalvi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Melquiades Tolino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queso Peda. Mecoyita's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
