Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonzalo Prejun kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Edgardo Ekain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Faustino Tipi. Edgardo Ekain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Edgardo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Freddy Giro fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BANFIELD Capo del Sur's protests and gave Freddy Giro a yellow card for diving instead. Freddy Giro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A.TEMPERLEY booed when BANFIELD Capo del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Gauargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.TEMPERLEY's Adrian Martxelin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BANFIELD Capo del Sur. Faustino Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Ekain in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, BANFIELD Capo del Sur's Faustino Tipi got control of the ball when Domingo Bixintxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Faustino Tipi managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when C.A.TEMPERLEY's Domingo Bixintxo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. C.A.TEMPERLEY's Arturo Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Prejun in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, C.A.TEMPERLEY's Ladislao Filipo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Tipi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingo Bixintxo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Faustino Tipi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Domingo Bixintxo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Faustino Tipi firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Edgardo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Ekain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustino Tipi came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Ekain slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. Gonzalo Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Tipi having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingo Bixintxo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BANFIELD Capo del Sur's zone, Domingo Bixintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Tipi came out of the goal and Domingo Bixintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Ekain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Tipi having to make a save. After 59 minutes, Ladislao Filipo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. BANFIELD Capo del Sur's Faustino Tipi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Faustino Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BANFIELD Capo del Sur's Faustino Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Bixintxo in the 66th minute of play. When C.A.TEMPERLEY's Ladislao Filipo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arturo Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, C.A.TEMPERLEY's Edgardo Ekain made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Tipi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When C.A.TEMPERLEY's Ladislao Filipo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BANFIELD Capo del Sur's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Ekain in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Tipi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgardo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Tipi having to interfere. Domingo Bixintxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Tipi having to make a save. In the 91st minute Domingo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the BANFIELD Capo del Sur defense, Edgardo Ekain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Tipi. The BANFIELD Capo del Sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Tipi should have stopped the shot.
