Vinicio Ostadar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Ramond having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Zacarias Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curupaity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Omero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Curupaity's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Ostadar came free, but Domingos Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erubiel Damario came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Che Guevara Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Damario couldn't finish the play. Domingos Ramond made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Erubiel Damario sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Curupaity got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Botello. Che Guevara Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliberto Pinto in the 18th minute. Che Guevara Futbol Club's Vinicio Ostadar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Domingos Ramond in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Vinicio Ostadar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingos Ramond, 1-0. After 25 played minutes Vinicio Ostadar rounded Curupaity's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After 27 played minutes Curupaity got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Botello. Feliberto Pinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingos Ramond. Curupaity's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Domingos Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Ostadar in the 30th minute of the match. Vinicio Ostadar might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Ramond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Ostadar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Che Guevara Futbol Club's zone, Zacarias Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Osmundo came out of the goal and Zacarias Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes Che Guevara Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Aritza. After 41 played minutes, Curupaity's Artemio Euloxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carolo Osmundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curupaity reached it. Vinicio Ostadar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Ramond having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Omero to strike the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Ramond having to interfere. Domingos Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Ostadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Vinicio Ostadar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Che Guevara Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Domingos Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Botello might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Many of Curupaity's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Curupaity may have spent more time on the ball, but Che Guevara Futbol Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
