After 34 played minutes, Gonnet FC's Aurelio Firman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valentin Tximitx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gonnet FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Crescencio in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gonnet FC booed when Ferro Carill Sud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Valentin Tximitx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Urbasa made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Gonnet FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Panino. Amador Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Eusebio Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Amador Ekhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro Carill Sud.
