Spectators: 7073 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnathan Salmons started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Unión de Santa Fe's Baldomero Mateus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias George made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Raimundo Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Mateus in the 14th minute of play forced Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Elias George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Sancho in the 17th minute of play forced Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Elias George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Palban hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Nunez Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pegaso FC's Elias George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Mateus in the 23rd minute of play. Johnathan Salmons hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Elias George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Mateus in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias George saved Pegaso FC from getting behind. Elias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Unión de Santa Fe's Baldomero Mateus made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias George was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Baldomero Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias George came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Unión de Santa Fe's Desiderio Sancho. But to his dismay, Desiderio Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Igor Cidro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Desiderio Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Unión de Santa Fe getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nunez Herena hit a great ball. Johnathan Salmons might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Maraman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnathan Salmons ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Unión de Santa Fe were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Desiderio Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Baldomero Mateus notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Pegaso FC's Elias George. Elias George was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute Desiderio Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Mateus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Elias George made a huge save. Elias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Baldomero Mateus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Desiderio Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Cidro. Enzo Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pegaso FC's Elias George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Raymond in the 72nd minute of play. Desiderio Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Elias George made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Albano Ulizes got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Igor Cidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unión de Santa Fe the free kick. 77 minutes into the game, one of Pegaso FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute, Desiderio Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias George was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 87th minute Desiderio Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Nunez Herena took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Elias George to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Mateus got free with Elias George in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pegaso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Desiderio Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Elias George, making the score, 0-8. Unión de Santa Fe played a much better game than Pegaso FC and deserved their victory. The Pegaso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
