The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Oxarra to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Oratorio's goalkeeper Salvador Tulio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Oxarra. In the 53rd minute, Waitakere United's Nicasio Oxarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 58th minute Teodosio Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Feliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Oxarra got free with Salvador Tulio in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Hitz in the 63rd minute of play forced Waitakere United's goalkeeper Mariano Feliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Teodosio Hitz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Waitakere United's Mariano Feliz. Nicasio Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Tulio having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Oratorio were victorious despite being under pressure from Waitakere United for much of the match.
