The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gavino Abilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Sokolski went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Konrad Sokolski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Gaston Acevedo's Konrad Sokolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Abilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
