After a rather tough play, Heracles Almelo's Isidoro Cresenciano got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Palermo Luminus defense, Isidoro Cresenciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Otoniel. The Palermo Luminus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Otoniel should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, Heracles Almelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Palermo Luminus booed when Heracles Almelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bernardino Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Palermo Luminus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Bras to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Americo Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Szilárd Jakab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Palermo Luminus's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Cresenciano came free, but Anastasio Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Heracles Almelo were awarded a corner. Nereo Herena went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Heracles Almelo's corner Nereo Herena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anastasio Otoniel quite easily take care of the ball. Anastasio Otoniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Ellande went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute Ignacio Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ignacio Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Ellande made a kick off. Szilárd Jakab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Szilárd Jakab put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Sarracino. After 68 played minutes Heracles Almelo got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Ellande. Anastasio Otoniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Danilo Sarracino came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo Luminus's Szilárd Jakab. But to his dismay, Szilárd Jakab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Palermo Luminus getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Urbano Jakes hit a great ball. If Ignacio Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palermo Luminus's Anastasio Otoniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Ellande in the 89th minute of play. Anastasio Otoniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Ellande in the 92nd minute of play. Anastasio Otoniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
