Fábio Garcha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Ixaka in the 18th minute of the match. When Jorge Guilabertus came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Leones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Guilabertus couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Edgardo Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Rivero came free, but Guaberto Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Garcha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Vermudo in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Leones's goalkeeper Fábio Garcha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Ixaka. Leones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Leones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Candido Oliveiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fábio Garcha was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Oliveiro came free, but Fábio Garcha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Cássio Antunes notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Boca Juniors's Guaberto Igon. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leones reached it. In the 79th match minute, Leones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Argoitz to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Genílson Ortiz was substituted for Candido Oliveiro. Feliberto Argoitz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leones's zone, Felix Bortzaioriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Garcha came out of the goal and Felix Bortzaioriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Leones getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Feliberto Argoitz hit a great ball. Fábio Garcha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Mosen in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Ixaka came free, but Fábio Garcha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Lastur during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boca Juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
