After 10 minutes, Paulo Gaizkine made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ciénaga's Constantino Vitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dep. Atletico Itati's Teodoro Ur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Cesario in the 14th minute of play. Moises Malvin charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Malvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ciénaga getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Moises Malvin hit a great ball. Nickolas Sohner, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Ciénaga's Constantino Vitin got control of the ball when Paulo Gaizkine tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Wilfredo Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Ur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Ur having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Cesario in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Ur saved Dep. Atletico Itati from getting behind. Teodoro Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Cesario in the 42nd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Emilio Azibar charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Azibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emilio Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Wilfredo Cesario took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Teodoro Ur to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Enaut hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Wilfredo Cesario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep. Atletico Itati's Teodoro Ur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Frans in the 64th minute of play forced Dep. Atletico Itati's goalkeeper Teodoro Ur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Raul Jordy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paulo Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Jordy during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ciénaga booed when Dep. Atletico Itati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Itati got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Procopio. 94 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's Filiberto Macerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Ur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodoro Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciénaga were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
