Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5327, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) West City's Matías Carvallo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, El Rojo de Avellaneda's Simon Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Beti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Matías Carvallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes of play, West City's Matías Carvallo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Senin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the game, Paolo Txilar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Rojo de Avellaneda the free kick. Paolo Txilar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of West City booed when El Rojo de Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Carvallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Joaquin Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Carvallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Adrio got free with Pedro Beti in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. West City's Pedro Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Celino in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Matías Carvallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Senin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. When Ignacio Lueje came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the West City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Lueje couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes, Blas Aritza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Rojo de Avellaneda and the West City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blas Aritza hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Paolo Txilar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Rojo de Avellaneda's Laureano Senin didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Carvallo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Senin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laureano Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Carvallo in the 37th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Isidoro Fidensio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West City and the El Rojo de Avellaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, West City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, El Rojo de Avellaneda's Amancio Stanislao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Beti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Rojo de Avellaneda reached it. Anacleto Oliviero got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Simon Tonete. In the 46th minute Matías Carvallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Salamon to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Denis Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd minute, Mauro Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. West City were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after El Rojo de Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paolo Txilar took the corner. The corner led West City's Joaquin Balesio to fire away a dangerous shot which Laureano Senin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute Matías Carvallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Carvallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Senin having to interfere. If Matías Carvallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Lueje's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Laureano Senin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to El Rojo de Avellaneda getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Anacleto Oliviero hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, West City's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Salamon came free, but Pedro Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Nestor Celino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Beti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ignacio Lueje fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West City's protests and gave Ignacio Lueje a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, West City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Lueje to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Amancio Stanislao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Beti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Salamon in the 86th minute of play forced West City's goalkeeper Pedro Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Carvallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
