Damaso Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Eguzki struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Damaso Xacintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter FC. With his leg Damaso Xacintu managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Inter FC's Tarcisio Maranhense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute Julian Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Peruanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fulgencio Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Maranhense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Damaso Xacintu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Romeo Atarratze charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Atarratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Romeo Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tarcisio Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Tarcisio Maranhense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Damaso Xacintu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leandro Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Orain to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tarcisio Maranhense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bambino 2008's Damaso Xacintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Damaso Xacintu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Txilar during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Txilar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Maranhense in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Leandro Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Damaso Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tarcisio Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Inter FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Peruanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Goren in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in bambino 2008's zone, Cayetano Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Xacintu came out of the goal and Cayetano Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Romeo Atarratze in the 95th minute really tested Prudencio Peruanton's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Maranhense in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inter FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
