Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Denis Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cristo Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot. skeleton's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Jerrold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 44thth minute of the game Cristo Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosme Fulanito FC's Fulgencio Maldonado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With his leg Fulgencio Maldonado managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when skeleton's Cristo Jerrold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Cosme Fulanito FC booed when skeleton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Kaiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cosme Fulanito FC! Maximino Itzaina walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
