Carrenleufú's Saul Dabi got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Illan in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Metev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Aurelio Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cecilio Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 52nd minute, Carrenleufú's Esteban Naldo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Esteban Naldo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carrenleufú protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Esteban Naldo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Reynaldo Fidencio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 56 minutes into the match, Beyhan Hürmüz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Popoy AFC's Narciso Beturian. Yuri Metev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guillermo Evarado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 66 minute of play. Carrenleufú made a substitution. Angelino Ayala replaced Saul Dabi. Arnaldo Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Delmar Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Metev having to interfere. Yuri Metev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Illan in the 81st minute. Gašpar Kalember sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Metev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Olivar in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Popoy AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
