After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Arnoldo Unax managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Tranquera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Unax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Babbis Dimopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Unax in the 34th minute of play forced Wasapampa FC's goalkeeper Babbis Dimopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnoldo Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Joel Arias made the kick off in the second half. Babbis Dimopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Unax in the 56th minute. Babbis Dimopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Ferrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Tranquera FC made a substitution. Domingos Marz replaced Arnoldo Unax. Babbis Dimopoulos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dante Guerau. Babbis Dimopoulos made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Domingos Marz sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Alejandro Ferrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Dimopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Ferrero in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Babbis Dimopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Ferrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Domingos Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Wasapampa FC's Leonel Libertad tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ceferino Medina scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Miliano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Tranquera FC played a much better game than Wasapampa FC and deserved their victory. The Wasapampa FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
