The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Etruria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Estebe in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Cebrian saved Etruria from getting behind. Eliseo Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Furtado in the 19th minute of play. Eliseo Cebrian came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Edgardo Furtado. But to his dismay, Edgardo Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Etruria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Bembe in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Cebrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Anselmo Ekain struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eliseo Cebrian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Edgardo Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eliseo Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Estebe made a kick off. Gabriel Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Resto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Estebe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseo Cebrian came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Estebe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. When Edgardo Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Furtado couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Segundo Bembe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseo Cebrian. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. Eduardo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Romeo Locaio in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boca Juniors's Dalmacio Bakar. Etruria's Eliseo Cebrian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Etruria from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Burni in the 90th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Gabriel Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Estebes short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Eliseo Cebrian to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Anselmo Ekain got a free kick in the 96th minute.
