Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Saturnino Leheren made the kick off which started today's match. Cecilio Tipi made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Emanuel Tanio sent off a good shot on target. Raul Urtsua was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, one of Gómez FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Gómez FC's Cecilio Tipi got control of the ball when Emanuel Tanio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Caradaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Silban went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gómez FC's Cecilio Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Gonchan in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Gómez FC's Cecilio Tipi got control of the ball when Emanuel Tanio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Marcelo Orlondo from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Cecilio Tipi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Elpidio Refugio got a free kick in the 40th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Gómez FC's Carlos Osmundo tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Emanuel Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fidel Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cecilio Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Gonchan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Emanuel Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Tipi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Gonchan went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 67 played minutes, Saladillo's Marcelo Orlondo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cecilio Tipi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saladillo reached it. After a rather tough play, Gómez FC's Eliseo Rufo got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Tanio in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Tipi saved Gómez FC from getting behind. Fidel Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cecilio Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Gonchan took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Tipi. Cecilio Tipi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Fidel Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Gómez FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Rufo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gómez FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saladillo.
