Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Magdalena's Maximiliano Velasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximiliano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Sabin having to interfere. The supporters of Magdalena booed when Churqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Lazcano in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Marco Urtzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Magdalena getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eleuterio Piearres hit a great ball. Godfredo Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute, Froilan Tome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Churqui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Godfredo Sabin was a little too slow when Ernesto Tabor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 36th minute, Jonatan Lazcano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Calvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Eleuterio Piearres fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magdalena's protests and gave Eleuterio Piearres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Magdalena's Eleuterio Piearres got a free kick in the 39th minute. Zacarias Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Gilen in the 42nd minute of play. Serafino Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Churqui FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zacarias Calvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Burni in the 52nd minute. Froilan Tome struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Zacarias Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Churqui FC. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Zacarias Calvino as he didn't even see the shot coming. 72 minutes into the match, Churqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Tabor came free, but Godfredo Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Tauro got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ernesto Tabor.
