Anastasio Bernad made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gonzalo Rumaldo sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, pirates's Erubiel Burni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Edorta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 17th minute Gonzalo Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Anastasio Bernad throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gonzalo Rumaldo in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Erubiel Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Abel Rius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corolina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave pirates the free kick. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Martino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Edorta was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd match minute, pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Martino to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Rumaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Anastasio Bernad made a huge save. pirates were furious when Natalio Lopez was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for pirates! Amador Oliviero placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 41 played minutes pirates got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Burni. Zacarias Berto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Bernad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gonzalo Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, pirates's Ubaldo Cordario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Edorta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lisandro Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Desiderio Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Corolina's Ceferino Vela got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to pirates getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dante Librado hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Corolina's Amador Oliviero tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Cordario in the 80th minute of play forced Corolina's goalkeeper Lisandro Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of pirates booed when Corolina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Kiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, pirates's Erubiel Burni got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lisandro Edorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Cordario in the 92nd minute of the match. pirates's Anastasio Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Rumaldo in the 96th minute of play. pirates were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
