No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fernando Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Fagondo in the 78th minute of play. If Mariano Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Montes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Rioja, 2-1. La Cantera's Mariano Fagondo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, La Cantera's Alfonso Rioja got control of the ball when Arnaldo Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosendo Luken charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Luken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rosendo Luken kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Cantera's goalkeeper Alfonso Rioja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. La Cantera's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
