GRANACAMPEON07's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Candido Cesario ran over to the corner to take the kick. 23 minutes into the match, Los Angeles Galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Aurken came free, but Faustino Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Angeles Galaxy's Faustino Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Los Angeles Galaxy from getting a goal against them. Saturnino Rexino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faustino Lopez. Los Angeles Galaxy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Gaitan during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, one of Los Angeles Galaxy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Angeles Galaxy. 35 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Aurken dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faustino Lopez, 3-0. GRANACAMPEON07's Sebastian Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Angeles Galaxy's Faustino Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Aurken in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Aurken made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match GRANACAMPEON07 got a corner. Los Angeles Galaxy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermengildo Otsoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sebastian Hibai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Tiburcio Cordeal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, GRANACAMPEON07's Arnoldo Aurken made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Candido Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Los Angeles Galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Cesario couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Candido Cesario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elpidio Arnas, 4-1. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Angeles Galaxy's goalkeeper Faustino Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Arnoldo Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los Angeles Galaxy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
