A collision led to Cañete FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Isidro Obeko hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Adrio in the 5th minute of play forced Cañete FC's goalkeeper Honorio Bidun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chacarita Juniors's Francisco Adrio in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cañete FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 9 minutes, Francisco Adrio made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cañete FC's Honorio Bidun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eze Sabeeh hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Isidro Obeko charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Obeko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Isidro Obeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Cañete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Cañete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Adrio came free, but Honorio Bidun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match Francisco Adrio climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Honorio Bidun. 43 minutes into the match, Cañete FC's goalkeeper Honorio Bidun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Artaldo. 46 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Jesco came free, but Eliseo Uxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Cañete FC's Isidro Obeko got a free kick in the 51st minute. Francisco Adrio struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Honorio Bidun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Juniors. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Artaldo in the 58th minute of play forced Cañete FC's goalkeeper Honorio Bidun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Eze Sabeeh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorio Bidun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guaberto Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Honorio Bidun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Bidun having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Urbano Jesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Jesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Adrio in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Bidun saved Cañete FC from getting behind. Cañete FC's Honorio Bidun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Adrio in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's Guaberto Artaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Bidun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaberto Artaldo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Bidun. Honorio Bidun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Artaldo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Guaberto Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chacarita Juniors had played much better football throughout.
