Rafael Isidor came out of the goal and Santo Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes, Santo Guillem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the Huanchilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Santo Guillem hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Guillem was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Eusebio Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play Huanchilla FC's Jimeno Innocenzio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arnoldo Dalmu, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Esteban Guillelme hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Daniel Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Onbera in the 60th minute of the match. Sebastian Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Michael hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Delmiro Onbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Huanchilla FC's Rafael Isidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Huanchilla FC from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Edgard Francesco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Jaunzuria quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Santo Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santo Guillem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Rafael Isidor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Delmiro Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Huanchilla FC's Delmiro Onbera in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newcastle United's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Onbera in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Jaunzuria saved Newcastle United from getting behind. Sebastian Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Arnoldo Dalmu fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United's protests and gave Arnoldo Dalmu a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, Edgard Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huanchilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. After 92 played minutes Huanchilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Francesco. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Guillem got free with Rafael Isidor in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 96 minutes, Santo Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Guillem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Newcastle United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
