Vinicio Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capitanes del Oeste's zone, Jaime Dino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Alfonso came out of the goal and Jaime Dino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Dodorol might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Alfonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Dodorol ran back to his position shaking his head. Capitanes del Oeste's Vinicio Alfonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Capitanes del Oeste from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Emiliano Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Alfonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gervasio Cresconio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Alfonso came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervasio Cresconio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. Emiliano Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Dinos short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Vinicio Alfonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
