Aquilino Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Llorienzo in the 15th minute of play. If Godofredo Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Gonsalve who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Samuel Micael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With 32 minutes on the clock, Arnoldo Oriche commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Muyilingas de Las Heras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Albino Cucao put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Micael. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Gonsalve to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Albino Cucao sped through Muyilingas de Las Heras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Micael. Albino Cucao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Micael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Muyilingas de Las Heras's Samuel Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Gonsalve in the 60th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. LANUS reached it. 9-0 became the score in the 95th minute when Rene Gonsalve elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the C.A. LANUS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
