El Porvenir's Gilberto Pelayo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lázaro Brais but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the El Porvenir defense, Roman Iliana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Nesto. The El Porvenir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Nesto should have stopped the shot. Paulo Saturnins short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Lázaro Brais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Casla F.C fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Casla F.C's Joaquin Alonso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jimeno Muc hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of El Porvenir booed when Casla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Brais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Saturnin in the 31st minute. Americo Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lázaro Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, El Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Iliana came free, but Dionisio Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Paulo Saturnin from a close distance when the talented Lázaro Brais managed to make a qualified save. Casla F.C's players were relieved. After having played for 42 minutes, Americo Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Porvenir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Perico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Casla F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Saturnin to make the kick off. El Porvenir's Dionisio Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save El Porvenir from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute Casla F.C were awarded a corner. Joaquin Alonso went to the cornerflag to take it. Casla F.C's Joaquin Alonso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dionisio Nesto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dionisio Nesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Iliana went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. El Porvenir's Serafino Gonzales got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Casla F.C's Joaquin Alonso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionisio Nesto. Dionisio Nesto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Jimeno Muc kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. El Porvenir's Paulo Saturnin got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casla F.C's Isaias Phelipe was substituted for Joaquin Alonso. When Serafino Gonzales came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the El Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Gonzales couldn't finish the play. During the 90th minute of the match Jimeno Muc completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jimeno Muc a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Casla F.C's Jimeno Muc got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Roman Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
