To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carrera's Arnaldo Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Sagrario in the 36th minute of play. Lino Tello hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to mirkof.c getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Guillermo Alfonso hit a great ball. Angelino Piarres came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Astor Gizon could save by the left post. If Adriana Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Sagrario to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Carrera booed when mirkof.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Nestor Hechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Elpidio Felipillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The mirkof.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Carrera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of mirkof.c:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jonatan Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrera's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Fero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Gizon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriana Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Gizon having to interfere. Nestor Hechter charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Hechter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nestor Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Sagrario in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Olayo saved Carrera from getting behind. In the 94th minute Eriberto Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Olayo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Elpidio Felipillo sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. mirkof.c had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
