When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Gregorio Orlandus took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Osvaldo Mancio to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Mancio having to interfere. Osvaldo Mancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Orlandus in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Gregorio Orlandus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacanta's Osvaldo Mancio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Gregorio Orlandus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldo Mancio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bruno Hernando charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Hernando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Orlandus was the one to do the kick off. Isidro Quico thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Osvaldo Mancio, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 3-1. After a rather tough play, Wunderteam's Maximiliano Hondo got a free kick in the 60th minute.
