Robinho Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Gilen having to interfere. Robinho Tassos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Osvaldo Gilen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Civitanovese Calcio 1919's Cipriano Mateo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvaldo Gilen. That made the score 4-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Cipriano Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Baltasar Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Olavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Mateo came free, but Osvaldo Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Gilen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Gilen came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Civitanovese Calcio 1919's Robinho Tasso. But to his dismay, Robinho Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Civitanovese Calcio 1919 fully deserved thier win.
