Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serafin Bertin started the match with the kick off. Esteve Loco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Natal was a little too slow when Celedonio Romildo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ruben Berbiz scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Montxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Adolfo Guib fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarill's protests and gave Adolfo Guib a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Jarill got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Guib. After a defensive mix-up in Jarill's zone, Abel Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Montxo came out of the goal and Abel Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jairo Sayvion in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ovando's Gilberto Araoz. After 28 minutes of play, Ovando's Ruben Berbiz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Montxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Jarill getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Serafin Bertin hit a great ball. Natalio Montxo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ovando's Ruben Berbiz. But to his dismay, Ruben Berbiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 35thth minute of the game Ruben Berbiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jarill's Natalio Montxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Ovando's Zeledon Natal got control of the ball when Celedonio Romildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Montxo having to interfere. When Ovando's Ruben Berbiz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jarill's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Adolfo Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Montxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Berbiz in the 46th minute of the match. Christian Ramond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Serafin Bertin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jarill and the Ovando players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ruben Berbiz from a close distance when the talented Natalio Montxo managed to make a qualified save. Jarill's players were relieved. The supporters of Ovando booed when Jarill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Berbiz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 62nd minute. Ovando's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a little luck, Jarill's Natalio Montxo got control of the ball when Ruben Berbiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Berbiz in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natalio Montxo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Lluis in the 78th minute of play forced Jarill's goalkeeper Natalio Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Esteve Loco made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Natal. Ovando's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Loco in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Natal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
