CAJSG's Edelmiro Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Gutxi in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Rosendo Lopez booed when CAJSG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Eustaquio Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosendo Lopez's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edelmiro Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, CAJSG's Filomeno Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Gutxi in the 21st minute of play forced CAJSG's goalkeeper Edelmiro Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Barrionuevo in the 27th minute of the match. Edelmiro Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Gorbea in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Fulgencio Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcos Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Enrique Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Serafin Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Nuno in the 64th minute of play forced Rosendo Lopez's goalkeeper Benicio Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CAJSG! Edelmiro Nuñez went to the wrong direction when Serafin Nesor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Serafin Nesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Eustaquio Gorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CAJSG's Edelmiro Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save CAJSG from getting a goal against them. Marcos Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Lopez's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
