Candido Igon charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Igon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Larroude AFC booed when Sportivo El Palomar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Larroude AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Erauso to maneuver through the defense. Lanny Faust made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Guerrero in the 13th minute of play. Guaberto Guillerme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Arce in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Rosendo Arce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guaberto Guillerme, 1-0. Aquiles Nabar took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lanny Faust. Lanny Faust dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 30th minute, Godfredo Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sportivo El Palomar's Rodolfo Kinsen got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Arce got free with Guaberto Guillerme in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Arce was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ivan Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo El Palomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sportivo El Palomar's Rosendo Arce in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Larroude AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Guaberto Guillerme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Galeno went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Rosendo Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guaberto Guillerme. Larroude AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Larroude AFC's Guaberto Guillerme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Arce in the 65th minute of play. Guaberto Guillerme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Arce went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Rosendo Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Guillerme was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. In the 81st minute Rosendo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Guillerme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivan Umea came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sportivo El Palomar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Umea couldn't finish the play. Ivan Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Prudencio Padro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Prudencio Padro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larroude AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo El Palomar the free kick. After 86 played minutes Larroude AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Padro. Guaberto Guillerme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Guaberto Guillerme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Arce in the 95th minute of the match. Sportivo El Palomar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
