The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Percy Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luis Jayvier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingo Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Jayvier came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Calingasta's Domingo Opilano. But to his dismay, Domingo Opilano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ludomir Ciszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Calingasta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Calingasta:s Marcelinho Marques showed great skill when he stopped Ciriaco Kiliz:s penalty. Nicasio Mambru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Marcelinho Marques skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 29 in the game by Nicasio Mambru from a close distance when the talented Marcelinho Marques managed to make a qualified save. Calingasta's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Urtsin during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of San Pedrito booed when Calingasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, San Pedrito's David Bucur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Domingo Opilano scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Jayvier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Ludomir Ciszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calingasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Pedrito the free kick. The supporters of San Pedrito booed when Calingasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Ciszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Bucur in the 40th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Nicasio Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Pedrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After some careless play in the San Pedrito defense, Domingo Opilano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Jayvier. The San Pedrito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Jayvier should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Calingasta's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Mambru came free, but Marcelinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Fidensio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Fidensio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calingasta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Marcelinho Marques went to the wrong direction when Ciriaco Kiliz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 67 minutes, Ceferino Ranolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Pedrito and the Calingasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes San Pedrito got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Ranolfo. David Bucur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcelinho Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calingasta's Marcelinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Mambru in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, San Pedrito's goalkeeper Luis Jayvier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludomir Ciszewski. 82 minutes into the game, Ludomir Ciszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Jayvier. Ludomir Ciszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 86th minute, David Bucur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Calingasta booed when San Pedrito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Beremundo in the 92nd minute of play forced Calingasta's goalkeeper Marcelinho Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Bucur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Pedrito were furious when Ciriaco Kiliz was red carded, 99 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of San Pedrito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calingasta:s goal. The Calingasta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
