In the 3rd minute, Pastor Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Racing's Hilario Oier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Vistruario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celestino Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 贺强卫, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Emesto in the 12th minute of play forced Crawley Town F.C's goalkeeper Celestino Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Racing's goalkeeper Nicolas Luzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Berto. If Jeronimo Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Gasteiz during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Crawley Town F.C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Virgilio Gasteiz hit a great ball. Evaristo Victoro took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Vistruario. Celestino Vistruario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 31 played minutes Crawley Town F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Enekoitz. After 32 minutes, Eriberto Enekoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crawley Town F.C and the Club Atletico Racing players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Racing's zone, Rigoberto Pacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Luzea came out of the goal and Rigoberto Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Jeronimo Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Ignado might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Vistruario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Ignado ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolas Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, 贺强卫 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Oier was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Hilario Oier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celestino Vistruario. Hilario Oier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Racing's Hilario Oier got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Pacho in the 61st minute of play forced Club Atletico Racing's goalkeeper Nicolas Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Vistruario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 贺强卫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Atletico Racing getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pastor Fernendo hit a great ball. Hilario Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Vistruario having to interfere. With a little luck, Crawley Town F.C's Celestino Vistruario got control of the ball when Jeronimo Emesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Rigoberto Pacho made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Luzea. Club Atletico Racing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Club Atletico Racing's Catarino Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Vistruario was a little too slow when 贺强卫 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-4. If Catarino Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Vistruario having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Racing had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
