The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Frechoso got free with Esteve Giro in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Frechoso in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Iratze to make the kick off. Esteve Giro came out of the goal and Braulio Sengrat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliciano Che hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Esteve Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Sengrat in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Otamendi's Gilberto Porfirio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Giro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Braulio Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
