Teofilo Ayala took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abelardo Quirze. chialaut f. c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cafesito's Inocencio Raphael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo Quirze. Abelardo Quirze yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Melchor Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. chialaut f. c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Hug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Patxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Clodio in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cafesito's Severo Jeraldo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Melchor Hug struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ricardo Patxi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chialaut f. c.. Hipolito Hermelando scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Patxi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Pastor Clodio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the chialaut f. c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Clodio couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Roque Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cafesito's Inocencio Raphael in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye chialaut f. c.'s goalie prevented a goal. Abelardo Quirze came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Cafesito's Bartolo Mendez. But to his dismay, Bartolo Mendez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.

The wind increased when Hipolito Hermelando made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Inocencio Raphael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafesito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Raphael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Mendez might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Quirze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Mendez ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Raphael in the 59th minute of play. If Bartolo Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of chialaut f. c. booed when Cafesito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Mendez took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Quirze. Abelardo Quirze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Pastor Clodio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Patxi. That made the score 5-2 in the 68 minute of play. After 73 played minutes chialaut f. c. got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Eneto. Teofilo Ayala, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 78 minutes into the match, chialaut f. c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Raphael came free, but Abelardo Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Severo Jeraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafesito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chialaut f. c. the free kick. 82 minutes into the match, Inocencio Raphael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Quirze. chialaut f. c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inocencio Raphael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Abelardo Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Raphael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes chialaut f. c. got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Hug. After some careless play in the chialaut f. c. defense, Inocencio Raphael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Quirze. The chialaut f. c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Quirze should have stopped the shot.
