Orlando Baumar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo's zone, Juan Alberto Quiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Baumar came out of the goal and Juan Alberto Quiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, club atletico boca junior's Victor Herena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Baumar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 19 played minutes club atletico boca junior got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Koperski. If Lisandro Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Alberto Quiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, club atletico boca junior's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabio Tartalo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Santiago Romano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Orlando Baumar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Alberto Quiroz to make the kick off. Fabio Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kazimierz Majtyka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Baumar made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Juan Alberto Quiroz sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Alberto Quiroz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orlando Baumar. That made the score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, club atletico boca junior's Juan Alberto Quiroz made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Baumar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Orlando Baumar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 74th minute Juan Alberto Quiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riachuelo's Orlando Baumar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Riachuelo from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Guillerme came free, but Orlando Baumar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 龚浩益 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Gilberto Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Alberto Quiroz in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Victor Herena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Orlando Baumar.
