Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Adan Arano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Baltasar Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Arano in the 4th minute of play forced CA Defensores de Belgrano's goalkeeper Baltasar Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Raul Viil put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Rico. CA Defensores de Belgrano's Raul Viil was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Raul Viil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Vilelas defense, Bianco Tarulli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Rico. The Vilelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Rico should have stopped the shot. Humberto Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Montrel having to interfere. After some careless play in the CA Defensores de Belgrano defense, Adan Arano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Montrel. The CA Defensores de Belgrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Montrel should have stopped the shot. Vilelas's Adan Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes CA Defensores de Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Eguntsenti. Melquiades Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Viil in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Vilelas's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Viil came free, but Melquiades Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Raul Viil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Roberto Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Vilelas's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Viil came free, but Melquiades Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute CA Defensores de Belgrano were awarded a corner. Jonathan Baumer went to the cornerflag to take it. After 65 minutes Vilelas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Baumer who took care of the corner kick. In the 66thth minute of the game Raul Viil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilelas's Melquiades Rico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Viil might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Rico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Viil ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute Raul Viil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Reno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Raul Viil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Rico having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, CA Defensores de Belgrano's Zacarias Reno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Rico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Raul Viil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Viil scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Rico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melquiades Rico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Viil went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Raul Viil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Baumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that CA Defensores de Belgrano were the better team. CA Defensores de Belgrano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
