After a rather tough play, Saldán's Gregorio Frantzes got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Armonía's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Ierovich came free, but Norberto Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Ierovich might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Gabon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dário Ierovich ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Firman Begal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Gabon was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Firman Begal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Gabon. Armonía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Firman Begal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Armonía's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Ierovich came free, but Norberto Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Saldán's Firman Begal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Gabon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gogo Mateo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Cordarrel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Firman Begal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firman Begal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Firman Begal sped through Armonía's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Gabon. Joel Txanton struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Roman Orain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armonía. Norberto Gabon made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Dário Ierovich sent off a good shot on target. Firman Begal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Gabon having to make a save. When Firman Begal in the 71st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Norberto Gabon kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Norberto Gabon was a little too slow when Dário Ierovich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-6. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Firman Begal took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Norberto Gabon to make any attempt to save it. Saldán made a substitution. Paulo Maureo replaced Firman Begal. Dário Ierovich struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Norberto Gabon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saldán. Armonía's Norberto Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Maureo in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Armonía getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Prospero Gombal hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Gamus during the 93rd minute.
