In the 6th match minute, Cienaguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. Cienaguita AFC's Ildefonso Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Astigar in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Baldomero Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita AFC's Leon Pinto got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Paso de los Toros's Alvaro Astigar in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cienaguita AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute Camilo Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Astudillo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Elazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Astigar's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Jonathan Fero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Txatxu in the 29th minute. If Alvaro Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alvaro Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso de los Toros's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Astigar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Elazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Astigar in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Elazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Pinto hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Flor in the 38th minute of play. If Marcial Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Cienaguita AFC were awarded a corner. Camilo Guter went to the cornerflag to take it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Alvaro Astigar made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Modesto Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Txatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita AFC's Basilio Santo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ildefonso Elazar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ezequiel Cordaryal. In the 62nd minute, Modesto Txatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ildefonso Elazar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcial Flor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Paso de los Toros made a substitution. Filomeno Demario replaced Ezequiel Cordaryal. A collision led to Cienaguita AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ariel Tulio hit a great ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cienaguita AFC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Elazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ildefonso Elazar was a little too slow when Pascual Montxo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-4. The Cienaguita AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paso de los Toros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
