Tiburcio Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Inocencio Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Olo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Quilmes getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Teodosio Olo hit a great ball. Tiburcio Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When C.A. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Inocencio Tajo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Quilmes booed when C.A. Pili S.T. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Gonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Iratze having to make a save. In the 72nd minute Santos Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Iratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quilmes's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Su was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Alvarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Goito in the 87th minute of play forced C.A. Pili S.T.'s goalkeeper Uriel Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave C.A. Pili S.T. a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antonio Seber, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quilmes's Tiburcio Iratze. 0-3. Inocencio Tajo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiburcio Iratze firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pili S.T. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quilmes.
