Silvio Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Tristan in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Everardo Sal made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Montrel. PIPICAT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Danilo Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Silvio Montrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvio Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Acevedo in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Domingo Emeterio made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Montrel. PIPICAT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Silvio Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Acevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Acevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Montrel was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Domingo Emeterio notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of PIPICAT's Silvio Montrel. Silvio Montrel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jockey Club Villa Maria's Remigio Lastur in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PIPICAT's goalie prevented a goal. Silvio Montrel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Jockey Club Villa Maria's Domingo Emeterio. But to his dismay, Domingo Emeterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Acevedo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Montrel saved PIPICAT from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Selmo got free with Ubaldo Ariando in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PIPICAT's Silvio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Tristan in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ľubomír Hradský to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvio Montrel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Domingo Emeterio sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the game, Domingo Emeterio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvio Montrel. Domingo Emeterio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Marcelino Calvino with Remigio Lastur as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Silvio Montrel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 84th minute Ľubomír Hradský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Arnaldo Acevedo took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Silvio Montrel to make any attempt to save it. When Remigio Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Jockey Club Villa Maria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Lastur couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Jockey Club Villa Maria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PIPICAT throughout the match.
