After 3 minutes of play, FENIX's Rosendo Cruz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Jacindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Shen Xing Yue made a precise shot to the right of Siro Jacindo. Ñorquín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Ñorquín FC booed when FENIX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Ondino struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Nemesio Sandalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñorquín FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Ondino in the 14th minute of play forced FENIX's goalkeeper Nemesio Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Jacindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Francis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Siro Jacindo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Justino Francis got free in front of the goal in the 24th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Siro Jacindo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Justino Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, FENIX's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Polo came free, but Nemesio Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Jacindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Francis's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Justino Francis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Jacindo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Justino Francis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Siro Jacindo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gonzalo Eliu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Justino Francis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Siro Jacindo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Ñorquín FC's Siro Jacindo got control of the ball when Shen Xing Yue tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Francis to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Justino Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FENIX's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ñorquín FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Domingos Mingo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Justino Francis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Jacindo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. When FENIX's Justino Francis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ñorquín FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Francis in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Jacindo saved Ñorquín FC from getting behind. Ñorquín FC's Siro Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Xing Yue in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Francis in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Jacindo saved Ñorquín FC from getting behind. Teofilo Aguilera's late challenge caught a FENIX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Aguilera helped the player get up and apologised. Teofilo Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Siro Jacindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ñorquín FC's zone, Shen Xing Yue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Jacindo came out of the goal and Shen Xing Yue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Ubaldo Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ñorquín FC defense, Shen Xing Yue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Jacindo. The Ñorquín FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Jacindo should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Justino Francis sped through Ñorquín FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Siro Jacindo. When the referee ended the match the FENIX players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
