Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaac Modestio got the match started through his kick off. Freddy Herena's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeronimo Loreto firmly grabbed it by the left post. 15 minutes in the game, Isaac Modestio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeronimo Loreto having to interfere. Javier Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Sotero having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Freddy Herena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soldevilla and the Bolívar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeronimo Loreto made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Freddy Herena sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Javier Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Gonsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cristian Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Reynaldo Artizar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Sotero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Artizar in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Sotero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 played minutes Soldevilla got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Milian. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Artizar in the 46th minute of play forced Soldevilla's goalkeeper Cristian Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Bolívar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Artizar to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Javier Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolívar's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Gonsalve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bolívar's Jeronimo Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Herena in the 60th minute of play. Bolívar's Reynaldo Artizar got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristian Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Gonsalve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Sotero having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Bolívar's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Herena came free, but Jeronimo Loreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Herena in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Reynaldo Artizar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristian Sotero. The goal made the score 0-2. 82 minutes into the match, Bolívar's Javier Gonsalve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Sotero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Artizar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Sotero having to make a save. A hard shot by Enzo Costante from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Cristian Sotero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 90 minutes into the match, Soldevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Artizar came free, but Cristian Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bolívar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
