Cayetano Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Gaitano in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Goi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aurelio Gizon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Osvaldo Goi struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Aurelio Gizon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Viejo Truco. Bartolo Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cayetano Sanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Viejo Truco's Samuel Benitez got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Viejo Truco's goalkeeper Cayetano Sanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cayetano Sanson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Gaitano went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Aurelio Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Goi in the 83rd minute of the match. Clemente Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolo Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Sanson having to interfere. Bruno Pietro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Sanson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Vichigasta AFC played a much better game than El Viejo Truco and deserved their victory. The El Viejo Truco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
