The supporters of LOS PIBES F.C booed when Bowen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Quico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bowen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Hechter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee showed Esteban Derwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flavio Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Tercero having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Maximino Hechter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Tercero. LOS PIBES F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Hechter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Maximino Hechter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
