Aureliano Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Eudoxio having to interfere. Cirilo Barto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Barto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cirilo Barto hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Horacio Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Silbestre in the 38th minute of the match. Horacio Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Cordarrol scored 1-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Hori made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Amado Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Amado Miliano came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the AS Mohican fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Miliano couldn't finish the play. If Fulgencio Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales's zone, Aureliano Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Eudoxio came out of the goal and Aureliano Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Miliano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Hori struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Fernan Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Mohican. In the 70th minute Aureliano Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Cordarrol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Horacio Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Amado Miliano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Cordarrol, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Cordarrol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Vidal was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AS Mohican!
