Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Santiago Handi made the kick off which started today's match. Gaspar Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medanito FC's Ruben Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Nicholas in the 9th minute of play. Diego Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Fagondo having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Rigoberto Derwin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medanito FC and the castellanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rigoberto Derwin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Fermin Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Fermin Nicholas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ruben Fagondo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by castellanos's Siro Toro. But to his dismay, Siro Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 30 minutes, Fermin Nicholas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Medanito FC's Ruben Fagondo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruben Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Nicholas in the 33rd minute of the match. Siro Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Fagondo having to interfere. Ruben Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Gaspar Bernebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ruben Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half castellanos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fermin Nicholas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Fagondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Bernebe in the 54th minute. Siro Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ruben Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Fagondo was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Fermin Nicholas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fermin Nicholas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ruben Fagondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Nicholas went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Siro Toro had several of the Medanito FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Ruben Fagondo as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Nicholas in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Fagondo saved Medanito FC from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Siro Toro made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Fagondo. Medanito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Ruben Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Nicholas in the 91st minute of play. Siro Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Nicholas in the 95th minute of play forced Medanito FC's goalkeeper Ruben Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Siro Toro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Siro Toro scored 0-9 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Fagondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over castellanos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Medanito FC throughout the match.
